In 2014 a partnership began between USF men’s and women’s basketball and the E-Hoops inclusive basketball program. Excited about the new collaboration, USF’s “Behind the Mask” program series highlighted the developing USF E-Hoops program and how E-Hoops & USF players were working together to build something rewarding for all the kids, families, USF players, and other volunteers involved. Check it out here.

Now, after a decade of working together, USF and E-Hoops launched their 10th anniversary season in fall 2024 of weekly E-Hoops basketball clinics, where both typical and neurodiverse kids participate alongside each other while being coached and mentored by USF players.

We are very thankful for how the USF basketball program and their players have consistently championed E-Hoops and all the kids and parents involved for so many years. As Ray Kim, Director of E-Hoops, commented about the USF players: “Oftentimes these children get discounted on what their potential is and what they can do, but when you have these great people taking such a great interest repeatedly week after week, it helps these kids to really grow.”

It’s inspiring to hear from the USF players themselves who are involved. Watch here…
