Oakland E-football spring season ends with Cal football visit 2560 1707 Greg Bodzioch

Oakland E-Football ended a great spring season on Saturday, April 27th! The kids got a special visit from Myles, a Cal Football player, who came to help coach, and wrapped up the day with gold medals for all participants.

The inspiration of E-Football will continue on Saturday, May 4th at the annual Cal “Golden Buddies” football clinic! At this great event, Cal Football, E-Sports, and Special Olympics join together to put on a fun, inclusive football clinic for kids of all abilities aged 6-13.

Big thanks to Coach Peters, the varsity football coach at McClymonds High, for inviting and hosting our inclusive E-Football program at the high school for the second year in a row. Coach Peters has championed our program by giving his high school players an opportunity to work alongside our E-Football coaches in training and impacting both typical and neurodiverse kids from the Oakland area.
