Exciting E-Hoops Warriors Night 3.24.19! 1200 800 Greg Bodzioch

Over 200 families, kids, and coaches from our Bay Area E-Hoops and E-Dance programs attended the March 24th Warriors game against the Detroit Pistons!

On a night when the Golden State Warriors recognize and appreciate special needs families, both our E-Hoops and E-Dance programs were highlighted at Oracle Arena!

Before the game, E-Dance was invited to hold a two-hour dance session at the outdoor performance area just outside the northeast entrance to Oracle Arena. E-Dance members from both the Oakland and Foster City programs came out in force to lead a throng of about 40 dancers from 3-5 pm. Multiple families and kids from the crowd heading into the arena also joined in.

Then, during the opening ceremony national anthem, six of our E-Hoops kids were given the incredible opportunity to hold the American flag at center court. Finally, E-Hoops did the 5-minute halftime intermission game for all to watch! After the game, all the kids had the opportunity to also go down onto the court and shoot a free throw.

We are so proud of all the kids who participated and represented E-Hoops and E-Dance. We are also very thankful to the Golden State Warriors for their support and recognition of our E-Sports programs in the Bay Area and cannot wait for next year’s event.

Go E-Hoops…go E-Sports…go Warriors!!
